My expertise and skills include product development, Sourcing & buying strategy,Range development,Process improvement’s, Vendor management.Apart from these functional skills I have also contributed to overall organization strategy formulation and its deployment through tools like Bsc In my 9 years(2005-2014) with Trent ltd I had worked in various sourcing & buying functions and handled almost all product portfolios.I have vast experience in developing a vendor base from all over India. I was a part of all process development’s & deployment which shall cut down the mind to market lead time and improve overall product quality As a head of sourcing I was instrumental in changing the star bazar sourcing from a hunting perspective to a farming one.This involved activities like consolidation of vendor base, defining a product quality bench mark,introduction of centralised technology team,Vendor performance and review. I got an opportunity to take on an international assignment and worked as General Manager for Fashion4Ever retail brand in UAE.heading all the verticals like Buying,Sourcing,Merchandising Operations & Sales. I joined RAISED ON DENIM as a sourcing head to take care of their private label BLUE SAINT.I was head of sourcing and was responsible for creating an agile vendor base and also to do extensive product development of their new categories I took up the role of heading the Bombay dyeing & MFG CoLtd sourcing function,The key objective was to design & implement end to end process for out sourcing with key deliverable to sourcing team and supply chain partners.Also it was important to create a supplier base with strong manufacturing capabilities which can give the same product quality and service which in house plant was providing. As head of Sales and Distribution for western region my prime focus was to increase the brand foot print through existing and new retail out lets by supporting them with brand promotion and various schemes. In my current role as AGM Sourcing & Supply chain with Globus Stores Pvt ltd,I am taking the lead in supporting the category for product development & range building till the delivery of products on store. The areas of focus are End to end process building,developing an agile vendor base, product communication,building technical capabilities,Quality improvements and improving on time availability.
