At Westpac Group, my focus as Principal Architect is on driving cloud innovation and establishing robust architectural processes. Take a product approach for Cloud, Data and AI. My role involves being grounded and relevant (being hands-on helps) and work with cloud engineering teams to introduce new capabilities in Azure and AWS, ensuring they align with the bank's strategic vision and risk appetite. Over the last 20 months my role has been focusing on enterprise enablement of AI capabilities that has direct capability interconnects with our public cloud environments. Recently, the focus has been identifying and working with potential business problems where AI including agentic frameworks can solve them efficiently. A product leadership approach on the Cloud and AI offerings and contributing to a robust product plan With proven expertise on data and AI engineering, my focus is on all the aspects of Cloud, Data and AI engineering and architecture. Previously, as Principal Technologist, I spearheaded the Azure Enterprise Landing Zone initiative, reinforcing the bank's strategic cloud platform. The collaborative efforts enabled a comprehensive architecture for Azure and facilitated a seamless multi-cloud treatment for critical applications. My technical proficiency extends to DevOps toolsets, including Jenkins and Terraform, and a solid foundation in network security, logging, and monitoring, which underpin the secure and efficient cloud services we provide.
