About Arvis Robalds

As a Project Manager I am passionate about creating and marketing innovative and sustainable tourism products that showcase the natural and cultural beauty of the region. With a Master of Science in Sporttourismus und Destinationsmanagement from Deutsche Sporthochschule Köln and over six years of work experience in the tourism industry, I have developed strong skills in project management, market research, customer service, and communication. I have also acquired fluency in three languages: Latvian, German, and English. In my current role, I work with a diverse team of stakeholders, including local businesses, associations, and authorities, to design, implement, and evaluate tourism packages and activities that cater to different segments and needs of the visitors. I also collaborate with various media and online platforms to increase the visibility and attractiveness of the destination. My goal is to contribute to the economic and social development of the Ammergauer Alpen region, while preserving its natural and cultural heritage. I am always eager to learn new skills and explore new opportunities in the field of active tourism and destination management.
