About Arwa Rashed

Currently doing my master’s in Chemical and Energy Engineering at Otto-von-Guericke University. In addition to working on a research project which focuses on phosphor synthesis for optical thermometry development which includes quantitative photoluminescence and lifetime measurements. Throughout my academic years, I have developed a strong research background working as on multiple projects with a successful publication of "Treatment of Dye-Loaded Wastewater with Activated Carbon from Date Palm Leaf Wastes” research. I’ve also taken steps in into the industrial world as an intern for Schlumberger (Slb) focusing on Well-Services and Maintenance. Being part of an international company with a fast-paced environment surrounded by diverse cultures and capabilities was a remarkable learning experience that played a part in shaping my personal development. It is my goal to follow a career path that challenges me and allows me to contribute new insights into the work at hand. I am interested in being part of a team that is passionate about the development of new technologies and drive towards success.
