About Arya Prince

I’m a Data Science student at UC Berkeley who enjoys building systems that work with real data. Most of my work has involved machine learning and backend tools. I’ve trained models using satellite imagery to detect wildfires, built a crop yield prediction model using climate and soil data across hundreds of counties, and developed backend systems that connect APIs, databases, and automation workflows.Right now I’m working on research involving 3D point cloud analysis for forensic scene reconstruction. I also support instruction for UC Berkeley’s CS 61A course, where I help students debug programs and understand core programming concepts.I like problems where the data is messy and the solution needs to actually run in practice. That usually means writing Python, building data pipelines, and figuring out how different systems fit together.Technologies I use often include Python, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, FastAPI, Docker, and PostgreSQL.
