About Aryan Aggarwal

Diving headfirst into a sea of extensive data, understanding the behaviors of businesses and their customers, and transforming these numbers into compelling stories- these are just a few things I find myself immersed in more often than not. Hi, I’m Aryan Aggarwal, a fourth year Finance and Economics student at University of Toronto with a knack for Data Science in Business. Currently, I lead consulting projects for NGO clients, such as Greenpreace and Horizons For Youth, at a pro-bono student club. This role has not only allowed me to enhance my soft skills in problem-solving and presenting complex solutions, but also hone my data analytical skills by serving as the Vice President of Finance at the same club. On the side, I dedicate my time to volunteering my time at the NATO Association of Canada as their Membership Lead. With a wonderful team of interns, I oversee all CRM processes at the organization, including member onboarding, payment collection, event logistics, and more. Introducing a new membership management platform enabled me to boost member retention rate by 15% while also reducing management costs by 25% for the organization. During my free time, you can often find me exploring one of the countless trails across the GTA. Much like data analytics, trails offer a hunt for a worthwhile outcome, which is almost always as rewarding as the outcome is. In a way, this aligns with my passion for problem-solving and devising unique solutions to exceptionally unique problems.
