About Asa Bowen

I recently graduated from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a degree in aerospace engineering and a minor in business. I am eager to secure a role in mechanical or aerospace engineering that challenges me. During the summer of my junior year I secured an internship from the Donaldson Company as an Aerospace Hydraulic Engineer Intern. It was incredibly fulfilling to be able to use the skills I learned at school to analyze and solve real world engineering problems. During the course of this position I lead a project analyzing aerospace hydraulic capabilities and presented the findings to a Donaldson leadership team at the end of my internship. My coursework has made me proficient in a variety of engineering methods, tools, techniques and softwares. In addition, I have developed communication and leadership skills through my experiences and extracurricular positions. I am confident that these skills would allow me to make an instant impact in an engineering role.
