I obtained a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Toronto, Canada, and completed an MA in Economics from York University, Canada. I did my BBA with a major in Finance and minor in Economics from North South University, Bangladesh, and received the Chancellor’s gold medal from the President of Bangladesh for being the valedictorian of the class of 2004. My research interest includes Macroeconomics, Development Economics, ICT4D, Economic and Social Impacts of Digital Platforms, Information Ethics, Behavioral & Experimental Economics, Bank Finance, and Corporate Finance. My research works have been published in several national and international journals including the Journal of Behavioral and Experimental Economics, Journal of Information, Communication & Ethics in Society, Electronic Journal of Information Systems in Developing Countries, and The B.E. Journal of Macroeconomics.
