Aseidas serves as Senior Director of Engineering and Innovation at Vera Solutions, where he leads the engineering team in developing solutions for organizations working to create positive social impact worldwide. He brings over 25 years of experience scaling technology solutions across education, international development, and enterprise environments. Aseidas focuses on building technology that enables social impact organizations to scale effectively, with particular expertise in serving nonprofits, NGOs, and development organizations. He has worked with international organizations including UN Global Pulse, UNESCO, and others, developing data-driven solutions that support humanitarian and development efforts. Prior to Vera Solutions, he served as Chief Technology Officer at The African Leadership University, leading digital strategy across campuses in Mauritius and Rwanda. He built engineering teams that developed cloud-based learning management solutions serving students and educators, while managing technology budgets and improving operational efficiency. At Camara Education Ltd, he served as Global Chief Technology Officer, deploying education technology across 7 sub-Saharan African countries and impacting beneficiaries. He managed distributed teams and collaborated with government ministries and partner organizations, focusing on learning outcomes, sustainability, and improved livelihoods. Throughout his career, Aseidas has led technology teams through digital transformations across diverse sectors, from scaling university operations to building enterprise systems. He holds Master's degrees in E-Learning and ICT4D, and is completing his PhD research on AI implications in sub-Saharan Africa's development sector.
