About Asha Jacob

An experienced and passionate Assistant Professor with three years of teaching experience in the field of Civil Engineering with master degree in Geotechnical Engineering.I was holding the position of an Assistant Professor and also played the role of a class tutor and had guided a number of seminars, consultancy works, bachelor and master thesis.I was involved in all departmental activities like mentoring, lab-in charge, entrepreneurship cell co-ordinator and member of exam preparation cell.I am a person who maintains a good relationship with my colleagues and I easily adapt to different situations with respect to the working environment.I have moulded myself as a hard working person through continuous effort and sincere dedication to my work.Since I like taking up new challenges I have switched my career from teaching to a totally different field.I have been working as a Quality Controller for the past five years.I find this role also interesting as I got the opportunity to learn new things, train my colleagues and to develop interpersonal skills and competencies.
