About Asha Prabhat

I graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction in Government, Feminist, Gender, and Sexuality Studies, and Human Trafficking Policy. Throughout my academic and professional career, I have been dedicated to honing and strengthening skills in public speaking, advocacy and nonprofit management, legal research and writing, client relations, and community and sales outreach. My work experiences span both the public and private sectors, namely Latham & Watkins, Cleary Gottlieb, CS DISCO, The Center for Reproductive Rights, and the U.S. State Department. At Cornell, I helped co-found and I served as the CEO of a registered nonprofit entitled the Advocacy Project, in which we authored and lectured our advocacy curriculum. Additionally, I was an active competitor, a student coach, and the Senior Captain of the Cornell University Speech and Debate Society, in which I achieved state, regional, and national success. Finally, I was the Senior Convocation Chair for the 2024 graduating class, in which I was in charge of planning the 2024 Senior Convocation event and was selected as the student speaker at graduation. I hope to pursue both a JD and MBA in the future, and am eager to bolster skills of business and legal management throughout my time at Latham & Watkins the next few years.
