Background

About Ashe D. Phoenix

As a graduate student in clinical psychology, I'm passionate about providing compassionate care in two specialized areas: end-of-life support and sexual health. My academic journey focuses on developing evidence-based approaches to enhance quality of life during difficult transitions and promote holistic wellbeing. When I'm not immersed in clinical studies, you'll find me managing a vibrant campus coffee shop where I direct a team of undergraduate students. This role has honed my leadership abilities while providing valuable insights into mentoring, team dynamics, and creating spaces where people feel welcome and heard. My dual experience in clinical training and practical management has strengthened my commitment to empathetic communication, collaborative problem-solving, and meeting people where they are—whether discussing complex psychological concepts or crafting the perfect cappuccino.I'm eager to connect with fellow psychology professionals, researchers in end-of-life care and sexual health, and anyone passionate about mental health advocacy and accessible psychological services.
