About Asheeq Jaffer

I am completing my Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics at the University of Calgary. Through my university courses, I focused my study on Finance, as well as select firms and companies, studying their tactics and strategies required to meet changing customer needs and adapt to economic pressures. I am particularly interested in Finance and Banking and looking to begin my career in Banking. I regularly work with Microsoft Office programs and proficient in Excel and Word amongst others. I am very adept to learning and understanding other computer programs and operating systems, picking them up with comfort and speed. Throughout my undergraduate program, I also developed a particular interest in customer relations. My ability to communicate and assist people verbally, as well as using mobile and computer applications, have been commended in the classroom. People warm up to me very quick and I am as comfortable working with people, as I am leading teams. Aside from my education, much of my business knowledge was developed during my time working with my family, small advertising companies and operating within small businesses where I was required to be capable of filling any role necessary and performing all tasks. I am committed to developing my skills work experience and advancing within the company to build a long and successful career.
