About Ashen Rajasinghe

Driven by a passion for science and sustainability, I pursued a Bachelor of Chemical & Process Engineering (Honours) from Sri Lanka, complemented by a Certificate IV in Laboratory Techniques from LTT College, Melbourne. My journey led me to a dynamic role in the plastic recycling industry, where I specialize in quality control, research and development, and process optimization.As a Chemical Engineer, I conduct comprehensive quality control of recycled plastic products, ensuring compliance with stringent standards. My work extends to R&D, where I develop innovative solutions to meet evolving customer demands and enhance product quality. I also manage the MBBR process water treatment plant, contributing to sustainable water reuse practices.I have successfully designed and implemented a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to streamline operations and introduced a production tracking system to monitor workflow efficiency. Additionally, I have developed SOPs to standardize processes and conducted risk assessments to uphold safety standards within the laboratory environment.My goal is to continue leveraging my expertise in chemical engineering to drive innovation and sustainability in the industry, while continually expanding my skill set and delivering value to organizations.Get in touch ashendhanu@gmail.com
