About Asher Looi

Born in the small town of Ipoh, I faced challenges early in life. At 17, with my father critically ill and no opportunity for further studies, I made my way to Kuala Lumpur with little more than determination and a few belongings. I began my career in event management—and that first step led me down an incredible journey. With relentless drive and perseverance, I expanded into film production, events, and advertising. I’ve had the privilege of working with some of Malaysia’s largest companies, producing campaigns for global brands like Coca-Cola, Nestlé, and even collaborating with Hollywood director Ang Lee. I've also helped bring massive branded events to life, featuring artists like Steve Aoki, Tiësto, and Paul van Dyk. After years in advertising, I transitioned into real estate, helping grow a firm from 300 to 1,600 personnel and scaling revenue from $150M to $650M in just one year. I was later appointed Project Director and Partner in a leading real estate firm, where I forged strong relationships with top-tier developers and led high-performing teams. After losing my father to cancer at a young age, I’ve committed my life to creating impact in this space. Since 2017, I’ve been involved in healthtech and launched one of the first e-pharmacies to integrate cryptocurrency as both rewards and payment. With a background in advertising, real estate, crypto (since 2011), and startups, I’m now building future-forward solutions that merge technology, blockchain, and wellness—with a vision to shape a better future for humankind.
