Mr. Ashesh Shah is a senior investment professional with three decades of experience, including private equity, venture capital, special situations and investment banking. Mr. Shah also serves as a member of Board of Directors and Board of Advisors in several companies. Mr. Shah is Partner of TC Capital Managers LLP, which manages Trans-Continental Venture Fund (TCVF)- an early stage venture capital fund. The Fund invests in emerging and high-growth companies in India. The fund prefers companies with strong management, differentiated products, services, technologies, and durable competitive advantages. The Fund is industry agnostic, and its current investments include companies in fast-food, auto-parts and database services. Mr. Shah specializes in investments in high-quality and deep-value companies, and adds value through board membership and mentoring. Mr. Shah has full life-cycle experience in Venture Capital and Private Equity, including: • Forming venture capital fund • Transaction sourcing, due-diligence and execution • Post-investment management, including Board representation • Exits, including M&A, strategic sale and secondaries Mr. Shah also co-founded Trans-Continental Capital Advisors (TCCA), a corporate finance advisory firm. He specializes in turnarounds, distressed debt and special-situations investment opportunities, Mergers, Acquisitions, Bankruptcy and Insolvency transactions.
