Having experience of maintenance work of various machines like Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) managing all the local production required for TBM. • Worked with various hydraulic and fabrication experts from USA, Australia and UK. • Knowledge of heavy fabrication, which includes exposure to Arc welding and MIG welding and various kind of machining processes. • Quality control work for fabricated and hydraulic parts • Knowledge of various sheet metal operations like cutting, bending, shearing, rolling etc. • Advance planning and monitoring of works like CNC operations (CNC turning, boring, router, wire cutter). • Conversant with various quality practices like 5S, TQM, and ISO/TS 16949. • Incorporating and maintaining procedures related to work as per ISO Quality Management Systems (QMS). • Preparing quality assurance plan, WPS, WPAR/ PQR, WPQ. • Conversant with various International standards & codes and ASME U stamp procedures. • Conversant with various NDT methods of QC like Ultrasonic testing, Radiography, Dye penetration testing, Magnetic particle testing. • Preparation and checking of shop floor drawings based upon as built drawing and BOM preparation for the required material. • Review drawings in accordance with specifications, codes and standards. Operational Experience: • Finalizing the drawings and rates for the non scheduled items. • Review and approve the vendor’s/subcontractor’s fabrication procedure in accordance to the required specifications and recommend any corrective action necessary. • Preparation of Quality control inspection plan. • Identify quality problems, reject non conforming items and initiate the recommended or provided solutions to the problems. • Control further non conforming items/ deficiencies of unsatisfactory conditions/ parts until rectification and any remedial action is approved.
