Dedicated and versatile professional with a strong foundation in emergency care, forensic science, and public safety. I hold two Bachelor of Science degrees from George Mason University—one in Forensic Science (with a minor in Sociology) and one in Nursing—along with graduate-level coursework in Forensic Science. Currently, I serve as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Inova Fairfax Medical Campus, home to Northern Virginia’s only Level 1 Trauma Center and one of the top three busiest Emergency Departments in the nation. Our facility is Magnet-recognized and nationally awarded for excellence, including-Nurse Journal’s Best Hospitals for Nurses (2023)-Joint Commission Gold Seal of Approval for Stroke Care -America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Critical Care by Healthgrades In my current role, I work as a Primary Nurse, Trauma Bay Responder, and Triage Nurse, responsible for assessing, treating, and performing critical interventions in high-acuity situations as part of an interdisciplinary team. I hold certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC). I am currently pursuing both my Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN), Trauma Certified Registered Nurse (TCRN) credentials, and opportunities to work in as a Forensic Nurse Examiner. Previous experience includes-Management at Regal Cinemas, where I supervised daily operations, customer service, and team performance-Associate Environmental Data Analyst at GDIT, a contractor for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. I conducted technical reviews of organic and inorganic lab data submitted by commercial laboratories in the EPA’s Contract Laboratory Program (CLP), ensuring compliance with EPA-approved SOPs and guidelines. I held a Position of Trust security clearance and developed strong proficiency in interpreting complex environmental data-Traffic Control Officer at Transurban, where I managed real-time lane reversal operations on I-95 and I-395 Express Lanes, monitored traffic conditions (including I-495), and coordinated emergency response efforts with Virginia State Police, EMS, and Fire Departments. I earned certifications in FEMA Emergency Management and the National Traffic Incident Management Responder program through the Virginia Office of EMS. I bring a unique, multidisciplinary perspective to emergency medicine—merging scientific analysis, public safety coordination, and direct critical care—to deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate service in high-pressure environments.
