Ashlay George is a highly accomplished chemist with a Ph.D. in Chemistry expected to be completed in 2023 from Christ University, Bengaluru. Ashlay is an experienced researcher with an impressive academic background. She has completed her BEd from the University of Kashmir, Kashmir, J&K, India, and her MSc in Chemistry from Christ University, Bengaluru. Ashlay has also completed a summer internship on Copper (I) Complexes Catalyzed Carbene Insertion Into C-H And O-H Bonds from Pondicherry Central University and a major project on Electrochemical Detection Of Heavy Metal Ions Using Nickel (II) Schiff Base Complex Modified GCE from the University Of Madras during her studies. Ashlay has undergone various training programs and seminars to enhance her knowledge, including a Basic Training Program in Nano Science & Technology and an Advanced Training program on Nano-fabrication and Characterization Techniques in Gas sensor module, both supported by the Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India, and conducted by the Centre for Nano Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore. She has also attended various seminars, including the 29th National Conference On Liquid Crystals, Stadler Seminar Series 2022 Edition, and the India International Science Festival, among others. Ashlay has published numerous papers and has a patent published in her name. Her research papers cover a wide range of topics such as electrochemical sensing of food additives, molecularly imprinted conducting polymer-based electrochemical sensors, and surface engineering of carbon fiber paper electrodes. Ashlay is a highly motivated and accomplished individual with a strong track record in academic research and scientific writing.
