About Ashlee Berg

I am a Registered Nurse at Skagit Regional Clinics. I chose nursing to be able to provide care for the community that I grew up in. I get to assist in healing my community and I don’t think there is a job better than that. Every day I aim to care for my patients in the best possible way that I can. I find it very important to provide safe and compassionate care to every single patient. I started out as an EMT and that is how I knew I belonged in healthcare. I attended Yakima Valley College for my Associates in Nursing and then went to Boise State University for my bachelor’s degree in nursing. I am currently attending Western Governs University for my master’s in informatics. Working as a registered nurse in a few different settings over the last few years has made me realize that I want to advance my career for several reasons. First, I want to have the knowledge and skills to make a difference in healthcare. I believe I have the drive and understanding the importance of creating a perfect healthcare system. I have so many patient’s that have inspired me to make difference for them.My professional goal this year is to complete the first year of my master’s program.
