About Ashlee Davis

I'm an educator committed to inspiring students through meaningful, culturally responsive learning experiences that foster academic growth, self-confidence, and critical thinking. As a 10th-grade English teacher at a charter school, I create inclusive classroom environments where students feel empowered to share their voices and engage deeply with literature, language, and real-world issues. Beyond the classroom, I am passionate about Ethnic Studies and Black Studies, with plans to pursue a second bachelor's degree in Ethnic Studies at Cal State East Bay, focusing on Black Studies. My long-term goal is to transition directly from a BA to a PhD program, conducting research that contributes to conversations about identity, power, and liberation within marginalized communities. Driven by a commitment to lifelong learning, I am seeking opportunities to collaborate with scholars, educators, and community leaders. My goal is to amplify underrepresented voices through research, mentorship, and education while maintaining a balance of personal growth, mental wellness, and professional excellence.
