I am an Artist, writer, poet, songwriter & therapist. I am skilled and experienced in both creative and analytical writing. And many different art forms and mediums. From small free form prose to epic love ballads, given the right prompts I can produce pretty much anything in the written word - provided it aligns with my personal philosophy of Peace, Love, Unity and Respect. I have a deep passion for the creative arts and personal expression. I believe in art as a potent form of therapy and in my work I love to help people to understand and overcome their emotions and traumas through a combination of Expressive Art + play therapy, Counseling psychology and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I am particularly skilled at and fond of working with children. But as I believe that most (if not all) core wounds stem from childhood, I am capable and competent at working with adults of all ages too. My work with adults involves helping individuals to reconnect with their child self (AKA "the inner child"), to remember who they were before life got so unnecessarily complex - and to help them to begin to live from that place again. • I am a qualified high school educator with a Post Graduate Certificate of Education from the University of Cape Town (UCT). • I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree (BA) in English Language & Linguistics and Counseling Psychology from Rhodes University (UCKAR) • I am currently studying an accredited CBT practitioner Certificate on Udemy • I am a self-taught and multimodal visual artist and musician
