Background

About Ashleigh Cooke

Growing up with a love of reading and a passion for receiving a Classical education, I had a strong drive to obtain an excellent understanding of the Greek and Roman world and languages. In the duration of my education rooted in the foundations of the ancient world, I was able to develop and to indulge my passion for linguistics, honing my writing skills, and to spread my love of academics through teaching languages and history. All such experiences have provided me with opportunities to refine my management styles and to adapt my communication and collaboration skills. In the professional workforce, I still aim to make my enthusiasm for language and learning be the fulcrum for producing books in academia, with the goal of inspiring similar passions in others. I additionally have a strong familiarity with professional persuasive writing and coordination thanks to my father, Tim Cooke, CEO of ASI Government. I am an energetic and vivacious person who is self-motivated and extremely disciplined, and I have superior interpersonal skills through teaching, my various graduate level and professional responsibilities, as well as by coordinating and working with internal and external company relations. I am currently an Associate Production Editor, a job that allows me to continue to work with language and to produce information that will increase the knowledge of others in the hopes that, armed with more knowledge, we will have the tools to create a better world for now and for the future.
