About Ashleigh Fox

During her time at university, Ashleigh worked for the NHS providing vital medical administration assistance whilst acquiring a foundational understanding of medicine within a primary care setting. Ashleigh worked for the NHS throughout the Covid-19 pandemic. She witnessed first-hand the crisis management undertaken by the NHS & this sparked a shift in career aspirations for Ashleigh after observing the evident impact of an overwhelmed healthcare system on patients both medically & socially. Ashleigh’s experience prompted her to pursue a Postgraduate Diploma in Law (PGDL) at the University of Law with the intention of progressing to a role within medical negligence. Ashleigh studied the PGDL for one academic year before accepting a role as a Team Manager at UKExpertMedical within the Clinical Negligence & Serious Injury department. Ashleigh was a UKExpertMedical specialist in assessing claimant enquiries at inception, assessing claimant prospects & deciding on the appropriate best practice for the client. Ashleigh has since stepped into the role of Events and Business Support Manager at the Brain Injury Group, Veterans Welfare Group and UKExpertMedical. In this position, she draws on her BA (Hons) in Events Management, her passion for supporting others, and experience providing advice to individuals with injuries.
