About Ashleigh Karol

As Director of Communications, Ashleigh oversees the marketing, promotions, and branding of HumanKind as a whole. Through these efforts, she coordinates marketing for all of the programs to demonstrate need, tell a story, and show the impact the organization has in the community and beyond. In addition, she provides collaborative strategies and support to the Development Department and fundraising for HumanKind.Having a background in Art and Interior Design, I never imagined where my career might take me.but at the same time it all makes sense. I have had the opportunity to use my creative passion and skill set to work within the non-profit environment and realized this is the type of industry I am meant to work within. Using all of my past experience in design, operations, marketing and graphic design.it was a natural transition to use these skill sets for a greater purpose.I believe that design is an interchangeable profession that can be used in a multitude of ways.Specialties: Communications, Fundraising, Marketing, Graphic Design, Social Media Marketing, Website management and design, Operations, Non-profit experience, Grant writing, Interiors for commercial as well as residential, 5+ years in Kitchen and Bath Design. Completed NCIDQ in 2009 - No.
