Growing up in Whistler I was introduced to the ski industry at a young age. My family opened a ski shop in Whistler (McCoo's Excessive Accessories) in 1987. I have a passion for the Outdoors, Fitness, Visual Merchandising and Event planning I have been actively part of the Retail/Ski and snowboard industry for almost 12 years attending tradeshows twice a year to prepare for the upcoming seasons. Attending shows such as Knowshow (Vancouver, BC), BCSRA (Richmond, BC) and Outdoor Retailer Snow show (Denver, Colorado) I overlook over a dozen brands and make crucial buying decisions for repeat brands and introducing new brands to the company Some of the Brands I have worked with: Oakley, Rip Curl, Spy, Armada, POC, Herschel, Smith, Mons Royale, Smartwool, Giro, Hestra, Go Pro, Ray Ban, Stance and many more Brands I have introduced to the company: Slowtide, Sun Bum, Mai Underwear, My Package (BN3TH), Craft, Element, RVCA, Stance Moving to Courtenay after 27 years in whistler will be a huge move for my family but with my New management job I am anticipating a successful happy new life as a Manager of a small local business to help grow and develop new skills
