Background

About Ashley A. D.

I’m a Financial Project Manager with a background that bridges nonprofit and community leadership, entrepreneurship, and higher education. Throughout my career, I’ve been driven by a commitment to ethical leadership, strategic planning, and building meaningful partnerships that create lasting community impact. I began my journey in the nonprofit sector, supporting clients through case management before moving into fundraising and business development. There, I discovered a passion for building capacity and scaling impact. I later launched and scaled my own postpartum doula business, an experience that sharpened my skills in financial planning, marketing, and client services. Over the years, I’ve led major fundraising initiatives and secured strategic partnerships with global companies such as Google Fiber, Dell and Microsoft. These experiences taught me to advocate with heart, think at scale, and lead with both value and vision. Today, I manage complex procurement projects and multimillion-dollar budget, negotiate vendor partnerships, and align financial strategy with long-term organizational goals. My approach blends financial stewardship with creative problem-solving and a deep sense of purpose. Now pursuing my MBA at St. Edward’s University, I’m deepening my expertise in global business, supply chain management and strategic leadership.
