About Ashley Akacich

I’m a results-driven Senior Project Manager with 10+ years of experience leading complex digital and software development projects—balancing big-picture strategy with the attention to detail needed to keep projects moving and teams aligned. I thrive in fast-paced environments where I can bring structure to chaos, build strong client relationships, and help cross-functional teams deliver high-impact work. Over the years, I’ve managed everything from multi-year custom software builds to large-scale website projects, working closely with developers, designers, and content teams. Along the way, I’ve developed a deep understanding of web optimization best practices, front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript), and tools like Asana, Jira, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Project. I’m passionate about improving workflows, driving efficiency, and creating clear communication across teams and stakeholders. One of my proudest strengths is the ability to step into tough situations—whether that’s a project at risk, a client relationship that needs repair, or a team needing support—and help turn things around. I’ve been trusted with some of the largest clients in past roles and have a proven track record of delivering projects on time, on budget, and with strong client satisfaction. Fun Facts I’m a big believer in the “work hard, play hard” philosophy—and I bring that energy to everything I do, both in and out of the office! Former Professional Ballerina – I spent years on stage before pivoting into tech and project management. Discipline, grace under pressure, and creative problem-solving? Check, check, and check. Community Dodgeball League Champion – Not the strongest thrower, but my signature sidearm earned me a spot in dodgeball legend (well, local legend anyway). Sushi Obsessed – I’ve eaten it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. If there’s a sushi bar nearby, I’ve probably scoped it out. Snow Enthusiast – If I could control the weather, it would snow 300 days a year. I live for powder days and cozy winter mornings. These quirks and passions keep me grounded, energized, and ready to tackle any challenge. Let’s chat!
