About Ashley Alexander
Graduated from California Baptist University with a Bachelor's of Arts, Sociology with a concentration in Social Work. I am currently working at Mission Crest Elementary School as a Special Education Aide. This position has allowed me to have hands on experience with working with children who have physical, mental, and learning disabilities. I also am currently working as a Children's Ministry Intern at The Avenue Christian Fellowship Church located in Riverside, CA. This internship has given me experience with working with young children by creating and teaching lesson plans geared towards learning about Christianity. I have previous experience with working with elderly individuals at Brookdale of Apple Valley assisted living and Whispering Winds of Apple Valley Assisted Living through dining services. As for my future, I hope to one day become a special education teacher. Currently working as a special education aide, it has sparked this interest in me. Which then, lead me to the desire of pursuing this career in teaching. My goal is to be able to inspire kids to be themselves while learning new things. In my free time, you can find me at the beach.
