About Ashley Aragon

As the Assistant Director of Human Resources at Otero College, I oversee the recruitment, retention, and development of the college's diverse and talented staff. I also have extensive experience in financial aid administration, having previously served as the Assistant Director of Financial Aid at the same college, where I managed the awarding and disbursement of federal, state, and institutional aid to eligible students. I obtained a Master of Business Administration degree at Adams State University, where I also earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and Management. I have more than four years of work experience in the public sector, where I have developed and honed my skills in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Human Resources, and Financial Aid. I am passionate about supporting the mission and vision of Otero College, which is to provide quality higher education that is accessible, affordable, and responsive to the needs of the community. I am a collaborative, adaptable, and resourceful leader, who values integrity, excellence, and innovation.
