About Ashley Arroyo

Ashley Arroyo currently serves as the Women’s Basketball Director Of Operations at California State University, Long Beach, where she oversees program operations, team travel, recruiting coordination, and daily support for the coaching staff and student-athletes. In this role, she ensures that all aspects of the program run smoothly, from managing logistics and schedules to serving as a liaison across campus departments. Previously, Ashley worked at the University of Southern California’s Student-Athlete Academic Services (SAAS) department as a Senior Learning Specialist, providing holistic academic support to student-athletes across multiple revenue-generating programs. She guided athletes toward graduation while fostering personal and professional growth. Ashley also served as an Academic Advisor at Georgia Southern University, supporting Women’s Basketball, Softball, and Men’s Tennis programs. A proud Puerto Rican from Hamden, Connecticut, Ashley earned her Master’s in Postsecondary Administration and Student Affairs from USC and her Bachelor’s in Psychology from the University of Bridgeport. As a former Division I and II student-athlete, she understands the demands of balancing academics and athletics, which fuels her passion for empowering student-athletes, supporting Latinas in sports, and ensuring every athlete has the resources to thrive on and off the court. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with family and friends, staying active, hiking, exploring new restaurants, getting shots up at the basketball court, and cheering on Long Beach and USC teams on game days.
