About Ashley Batey

Hello! My name is Ashley Batey! I am dedicated Mechanical Engineering student with a drive to work on the front lines of technological innovation. My diverse engineering experiences, from manufacturing to product design, allow me to approach problems with a holistic understanding from initial concept development to manufacturing and release. I believe that all challenging problems can be resolved when dedicated effort is given. In the words of Ralph Waldo Emerson “that which you persist in doing become easier, not the nature of the task has changed, but our ability to do has increased”. This quote has inspired me through my undergraduate degree to develop a strong understanding of material selection, FEA, 3D CAD (Solidworks, NX), C++, MATLAB, dynamics, and manufacturing processes. I am excited to enter the work force and apply these principles to real life problems. When I’m not in school, you can find me outside mountain biking, skiing, or training for my next marathon! I hope to use my skills to change society from the most simple to complex ways. Feel free to reach out [ashleyquinn018@gmail.com]
