About Ashley Beth Carroll

Founder & Managing Director of Be Someone Worldwide, investing resources & global solutions in developing countries. Challenging the status quo for "doing good" and creating interactive, innovative ways to engage donors as partners and fellow change makers. What makes BeSomeone special is that we do not make it about charity. This is about investing in people and their potential, giving something much more powerful than monetary funds. We do not provide infrastructure, but build it together. We create projects that generate vital change by getting to know the people that we work with and listening to their stories. We believe education is the most powerful tool in the world. An educated people understands how to feed themselves, develop themselves and provide sustainable lives for themselves and future generations. We believe that learning is magical. It can inspire us, empower us, soar us to greatness. We believe in culture. In promoting and maintaining indigenous values so that children can stay connected to their heritage. We believe in art, and how it can become a tool for creating opportunity. We are big promoters of talent and capacity building to enable a person’s future. We want to empower women by developing their talents, so they can provide for themselves and their families. Our goal is to be able to touch the lives of more and more people. To build a stronger community and projects that generate lasting change. Our goal is to use our own resources and talents to do so, and to invite more people to do it with us. Message me and let's talk about interesting, exciting ways to build a global community."I am only one, but I am still one. I cannot do everything, but still I can do something. And because I cannot do everything I will not refuse to do the something that I can do."
