Ashley Blacketer serves as a Director and Partner of Barrel House Investments, a real estate development company that concentrates on multifamily and commercial development. Current projects in Louisville, KY include converting the dilapidated 1920’s Bradford Mills factory in Germantown into 150 market rate loft class A apartments using historic tax credits. Another current project is the rehabilitation of a 120 year old square foot warehouse facility into classroom, studio and office space which will be leased to the University of Louisville’s Master of Fine Arts Program in addition to other tenants in the East Portland warehouse district. Additionally, we are currently renovating a class C dilapidated 33 unit apartment complex in the heart of the Highlands and re-positioning it into a Class A property. Past developments include the Flats on Frankfort, formerly known as The Clifton Arms, a 40 unit market rate class C property which was renovated and re-positioned into a class A property. Additionally, Ms. Blacketer serves as President and Managing Asset Director of Vantage Point, LLC owner of a portfolio of Class A commercial retail and office properties in Kentucky, Indiana, Florida and South Carolina. Prior to serving as President of Vantage Point, LLC, Ms. Blacketer served as General Counsel of Vantage Point, LLC where she was responsible for directing the legal affairs of the company including negotiation and preparation of joint venture agreements, construction contracts, retail leases, purchase agreements, financing terms and zoning and planning permits.
