As an HIV advocate and test counselor, I have been involved in raising awareness about HIV/AIDS, providing crucial counseling services, and advocating for those affected by this health issue. My commitment to harm reduction strategies has allowed me to make a significate impact in preventing the spread of HIV while ensuring individuals receive the support they need with dignity and respect.As a certified drug and alcohol counselor, I have had the privilege of specializing in addiction recovery, guiding individuals towards sobriety, and helping them rebuild their lives. I use a person centered, Cognitive behavioral therapy, and a strengths based approach. I have experience in both group facilitation and one-on-one counseling, allowing me to address the unique needs of each client.One of my strengths lies in my ability to forge strong connections within the community. I excel in networking with various agencies to ensure my clients receive the comprehensive support they need. My expertise extends to providing valuable referrals, bridging gaps in access to resources, and advocating for those in need.
