I’m helping to shape the future of agricultural engineering by building communication strategies that help connect young talent with the industry. Working at the intersection of apprenticeship development and aftersales training communication, I oversee the national engagement, digital content creation, and the strategic coordination of an agricultural engineering apprenticeship scheme across the UK & Ireland. My role isn’t just about delivering skills, it’s about defining the voice and visibility of a sector that feeds the world. With over 17 years of experience as a technician and auto-electrician in the heavy goods vehicle and waste industries, followed by several years in automotive and agricultural technical training, I bring a unique blend of hands-on expertise, instructional design, and project management to every task I undertake. As Aftersales Training Business Development Manager for a leading agricultural machinery manufacturer, I support over 220 apprentices across five UK and Ireland colleges. This role involves close collaboration with educational institutions and industry governing bodies to ensure the apprenticeship programme meets national standards and delivers the skills our industry needs to thrive. Beyond programme delivery, I’m passionate about storytelling and communication. I’ve led major improvements in our digital presence and aftersales training marketing strategy, contributed to nationally recognised training content, and ultimately helped position our region as a global benchmark within our organisation. Whether it’s course design or campaign messaging, live events or long-term strategy, I strongly believe that the future of agricultural engineering depends not just on the machines we build, but on the message behind them.
