About Ashley Butcher

I am a dynamic and dedicated global studies scholar with a strong academic record, including various honors and awards. I am looking for a post that will create positive change and foster diplomacy between all peoples. My experience at Miami University's Office of Global Initiatives allowed me to enhance data management processes, facilitating better access to scholarships for minority and international students. I also gained valuable insights during my internship with the Ohio Auditor’s Office, where I produced a comprehensive report on international education systems, informing higher education policy recommendations. My collaborative work with the Department of State Diplomacy Lab involved in-depth analysis of Saudi Arabia’s economic initiatives, where I identified key entrepreneurs contributing to Vision 2030. Additionally, as a Resident Assistant, I fostered community engagement and safety among students. I am proficient in both French and Arabic, along with skills in policy analysis and data coding in R, I am committed to leveraging my academic achievements and diverse experiences to any future employer. I completed a spring study abroad in Rabat, Morocco studying Arabic, French, Islam, and North African politics.
