About Ashley Collado

Seasoned in the IT Operations’ end-to-end support for 20 years now, where he started out from general technical support moving to application development and database administration. During his DBA stint, he specialized in operations support under Oracle platform on Unix where he concurrently lead a team of offshore operations resource covering high availability, performance tuning, and backup & recovery tasks. Within Teradata GDC, where is almost 9 years of service now doing ITIL role as service delivery manager until previous year where he moved to people management role as an associate practice lead. On top of his previous SDM role, he organized open source (platform and big data/Hadoop) trainings for the managed services team and took on a trainor role as well, specially when the center is building up skills for the Hadoop operations support service offering to customers. With almost 10 years now with Teradata GDC, he has spent most of his time on a customer-facing role doing delivery management, taking over difficult accounts (McCain, Williams Sonoma, SiriusXM) into its stabilization journey through focusing on key areas in improvement in both process and people / communications perspective.
