As an educator for 13 years, I have been given the opportunity to pursue my passion of pouring into the lives of others every day. After graduating with my Bachelor’s Degree in Middle Level Mathematics and Language Arts Education, I immediately began my Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction at Doane University. I desired to continue my education because I recognized the importance of being a continuous learner in the field of Education. After graduating with my Master’s Degree, I still felt that there was more to learn, which led me to pursue my Doctorate in Teaching and Learning with an emphasis in Mathematics Education. While working on my dissertation, I gained a stronger passion for teaching and curriculum, specifically in the field of mathematics. I have found that I not only love working with students, but I also have never wanted to stop learning.
