Background
About Ashley Crowder
I am a clinical researcher in the field of psychiatry/CNS conditions and summa cum laude graduate from New York University. I completed my B.A. in Psychology with Honors and completed my honors thesis,"Resilience, Coping, and Mental Health in University Students." My honors research focuses on student mental health and the protective factors of wellbeing and buffers of psychological distress. I hope to continue my education in clinical psychology in the near future. My interests within clinical psychology include fields of trauma, forensic, and cross-cultural areas of research and application. Previously, I conducted research on migration trauma in the Mediterranean from a psychosocial perspective, which was presented at the 2022 Italian Studies Undergraduate Research Conference.
