About Ashley Daane
Volunteering in the emergency department as a teenager peeked my interest in the healthcare field. I decided to go to the local community college and obtain my CNA certification. Working as a CNA I worked in a multitude of settings including long term care, home health, group homes and clinic settings. Working as an assistant in a podiatry office is a big part of what made me want to go to school to be a medical assistant. Prior to working there I had not heard of that position, in my mind it was either CNA, nurse, or doctor. Enjoying what I did in that clinic I very quickly decided I wanted to go to school to become a CMA. I graduated from Herzing University May 2019. I am currently a student at UW Whitewater working on a bachelor degree in corporate health communications and psychology with a minor in LGBTQ relations
