I’m a dedicated Registered Nurse with 15 years of experience in acute care, specializing in emergency medicine, patient throughput, and clinical operations. I began my career in the ED at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, a level-one trauma and comprehensive stroke center, and later joined St. David’s Round Rock Medical Center.Over the years, I’ve served in multiple leadership capacities—including relief charge nurse, house supervisor, and Throughput Coordinator—focusing on improving patient flow and reducing delays. I’m a graduate of St. David’s PEAK Leadership Program and have led several quality improvement projects, including one presented at Cedars-Sinai on reducing ED wait times.Currently, I serve as Director of Throughput, leading hospital-wide efforts to streamline patient flow, minimize discharge delays, and improve capacity management. I oversee the central transport team, discharge lounge, and our ADT (admit-discharge-transfer) RN team—all critical to ensuring safe, timely, and efficient transitions throughout the hospital.I’m passionate about advancing nursing practice, building high-performing interdisciplinary teams, and driving operational excellence across the continuum of care.
