I am a dedicated and motivated recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara. With a strong foundation in biology and chemistry, I have a passion for research and a commitment to lifelong learning. My hands-on experience in clinical settings, coupled with my roles as a research intern and learning assistant, has equipped me with the skills to contribute effectively to a research team. Throughout my academic journey, I have cultivated strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and adaptability. I have experience running blood work, assisting in clinical trials, and collaborating on educational initiatives to engage students in scientific thinking. My work as a medical assistant and physician shadow has also provided me with a deep understanding of patient care and the importance of empathy and professionalism in medical settings. I am eager to bring my skills and passion for research to a dynamic team as a Research Assistant. I am particularly interested in exploring how mental health influences addiction, with the goal of contributing to advancements in healthcare and improving patient outcomes.
