I am currently finishing my second year in the Practical Nursing program at Loyalist College. During my duration in the program, I have encountered a tremendous amount of learning experiences that allow me to become the competent and caring nurse I am striving to be. Throughout the program, I have completed 4 clinical rotations, all of which are different and expanded my learning significantly. These clinical opportunities allowed me to discover my strengths as a future nurse, those being time management, willingness to learn, and applying my skills as often as I can. In addition, I have worked in long-term care as a PSW during the summer months. This opportunity enhanced my passion in providing care for others as well as my interest in health care as a whole. I am beyond excited for the rest of my educational journey and eager to start my future career as a nurse.
