About Ashley Gomez

Ashley is currently the Marketing Director for Harmony Public Schools. She previously served as the Small Business Education Manager for one of the largest nonprofits in Texas, BakerRipley. In her role, she planned and implemented strategic initiatives for small business education across the agency through Entrepreneur Connection, a program dedicated to providing resources, education, and connection to capital to entrepreneurs looking to build a successful business. Her work in entrepreneurship was inspired by the launch of 132 Design, a creative agency dedicated to providing marketing and branding solutions for businesses. Ashley and her team have helped numerous businesses launch new websites, landing pages, and marketing campaigns. Today, Ashley serves as lead for marketing and communications for the agency. Prior to her role with the agency, she was a public school educator; teaching English/Language Arts and Journalism to grades 6-8. She remains an advocate for digital learning + leading in the classroom. Ashley received a BA in Journalism from the Valenti School of Communication and studied Mexican American Studies with the Center of Mexican American Studies at the University of Houston.
