About Ashley Hakes

I grew up in El Paso, Tx and spent most of my childhood in cheerleading competitions or dance recitals. In 2003 a little movie came out by the name of Finding Nemo. I knew what I wanted to do in life. I wanted to create movies that would make someone feel good after watching it. I wanted to be an animator.After graduating with a degree in media arts and animation, I spent a few years gaining experience as a freelance animator/3D modeler as well as a food server for a local breakfast restaurant. In 2014, I was hired by Arizona Virtual Studios as a 3D animator. In the almost 7 years working with what is now Arizona Studios, I have earned a few more titles to add to my animator role. Video production, video editing and audio technician have now been added to my skillset. My goal is to continue to grow as an animator as well as be an asset in the video production community.Specialties: Punctual, thrives on team collaboration, adapts well to new tools and work environments, organized and self motivated. I am skilled in the following programs: Adobe After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere, Maya.
