As I’ve moved through the field of employee and student development I have consistently stepped into new roles and industries, quickly becoming an informal leader and trusted advisor. Regularly, management leans into me to assess systems, lead collaborations, develop initiatives and conduct other projects. Components of my success have been a team-focused approach and the innate ability to identify gaps and needs, engage in complex problem solving and improve upon existing processes. However, my greatest strength in any work environment is quickly building rapport and communicating with diverse internal and external stakeholder, then synthesizing conversations into actionable items.
