About Ashley Henry

My name is Ashley Henry, and I am a Freshman at Muhlenberg College with an intended Neuroscience major and Spanish minor. As a student and individual, I am committed to promoting health within my community. I believe that health comes in many forms and that they are all equally important to the insurance of well-being. I have chosen to pursue coursework in science and serve on my college’s EMT squad. Additionally, as a member of STEM outreach, I share my passion for science with middle school students in Allentown. As a sibling of someone with ASD, I have a personal connection to highlighting mental health and have continued to learn more through Neurodiversity research at Muhlenberg College. I have recently begun to explore health through the lens of sustainability and public health through my position as Sustainability Special Projects Assistant and current coursework, such as Public Health in Panamá, which includes a two-week service trip. I hope to make this information more accessible to the community by promoting biliteracy within the workplace and improving my Spanish language communication skills.
