About Ashley Husted

I have an extensive customer service and sales background, I have spent the last 6-7 years working as a loan officer but I would like to change industries. Helping animals is something I am passionate about, I would like to turn it into a career. My current job position requires a lot of multi-tasking, and creative thinking. I work with people from all walks of life, I’m very bubbly and outgoing and have no problem speaking to people. Time management skills are also critical to my success, I am able to work efficiently with little supervision. I have two boxers, I’ve had them for 10 and 11 years so I have been peed on, bled on, slobbered on, puked on, along with being scratched and bruised. My male has boxer cardiomyopathy, I’ve been giving him regular medications for 4 years. I am a kitten foster with Best Friends and have two cats myself, I also have experience with ringworm cats/kittens. I expect going from a commissioned position to an animal rescue is going to very different financially, it is a sacrifice I am happy to make.
