Growing up, I would migrate toward the opportunity to watch a black business owner thrive in their environment. It was an attempt to understand how and where I could do my best work for my community. I succeeded at finding my passion for the business world and combing through the fields that best fit my personality. My drawn-out degree completion was not enough to stop me, rather, I approached my next opportunity with lessons from the business owners I had grown to admire. I would attribute my drive to my extremely purposeful nature because it enables me to see to what opportunities I have created and what opportunities I have yet to unlock. Always forward, never backwards. Starting my career in Human Resources is the track I'm heading towards, to immediately aid in the opportunity to help improve in the training and development of employees in the organization. Through my freelance assistant work I have been privileged to harness a diverse view of employers to create brainstorming strategy. I landed on a great jackpot when I started my freelance work as a social media assistant because I saw the need small business owners had to eliminate time spend preparing and engaging on social media platforms. I enjoy applying learned knowledge of scheduling software, design programs and human- centered engagement to create automated-like solutions for my clientele' because it fosters a maintained media presence. You'll traditional find me maintaining the weekly needs of a changing media platform, analyzing ways to present campaigns in a more appealing light, and engaging with potential consumers.
